Principles and Applications of multiplate reader: Synergy Neo2 Hybrid Multi-Mode
CCMAR has acquired the Synergy Neo2 Hybrid Multi-Mode Multiplate Reader in the context of the EMBRC.PT project. This instrument will reinforce the capacity of the CCMAR chemistry and molecular biology platforms and the scientific community in general. Its applications include: HTS • Biomarker Assays • Nucleic acid quantification • Protein quantification • Rapid kinetics • HTRF • SNP • TR-FRET • BRET • Cytokines • ELISA • Fluorescence polarization • Micro-volume nucleic acid and protein quantification with the Take3 Micro-Volume Plate. The equipment allows variable bandwidth quad monochromators, sensitive high transmission filter-based optics, laser TRF and up to 4 PMTs to provide ultra-fast measurements. Advanced environmental controls, including CO2/O2 control, incubation to 65 °C and variable shaking support live cell assays; cell-based detection is optimized with direct bottom illumination.
