We develop and implement tools and methods to support responsible, sustainable and profitable national and far-seas fisheries, in collaboration with resource users, policy makers and other stakeholders and in line with national and Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) goals. We study the biology, ecology and population dynamics of commercially important species, small scale commercial fisheries, recreational fisheries, as well as ways to mitigate by-catch and discarding.
