Research Interests
The main research interests are the comparative physiology and endocrinology of fishes, particularly chemosensory biology in relation to reproduction and behaviour, sex determination and puberty, osmoregulatory systems and adaptation to extreme and special environments. Research in Antarctica focuses on physiological and transcriptomic adjustments to global change, osmoregulation and temperature adaptation.
